Manuscript Editing Services
Manuscript M.D. offers proofreading, editing, and rewriting assistance to physicians and scientists in publishing their research and clinical experiences in peer-reviewed medical journals and scientific journals. In addition to journal articles, we can assist you in preparing meeting abstracts, text for posters and oral presentations, books, grant proposals, and web page content.

Included in price of manuscript preparation:

Proofreading & copy editing:We will correct spelling, capitalization, grammar, and punctuation; ensure consistency of style and tense; and revise inaccurate terms.
- Substantive editing & rewriting:We will reorganize material and rewrite sentences and paragraphs, as needed, to improve the clarity, logic, and flow.

Formatting:When applicable, we will format the abstract, text, tables, figures, legends, and references according to the journal's Instructions to Authors or the Uniform Requirements for Biomedical Journals.

Critique:We will review the manuscript's content in regard to its medical/scientific accuracy, currency, relevancy to the existing literature, and consistency with the journal's stated goals. In essence, this critique will serve as a pre-peer review. Potential weaknesses, inaccuracies, or queries will be identified (see below).

Letter to Author(s):With your revised manuscript, you will receive a letter describing important changes, potential weaknesses or inaccuracies, and any queries. This letter also may include suggestions for content-related changes, such as the inclusion of other data or references.

Service Details:
- Standard service is completed in 7-10 days for most documents. For an extra fee, we offer a 48-hour rush service for documents less than ten 250-word pages.
- Payment is due within 30 days of work completion and may be made via money order, cashier's check, check drawn on U.S. funds, wire transfer, PayPal, or Western Union.
